Sorry guys...I have been very busy and should have posted up a reply before now. As many of you know we had a major issue with counting laps entering into pit lane. The GCS and Pineland have made sure this problem will not happen again.

I have spent over 8 hours reviewing the times. In addition we have gotton several other people involved aswell as our software designer. We all have collectivly spent over 10 hours finding the accurate results. Due to the number of racers effected, we will be updating the results to show the proper finishing order.

Please be pateint us..we take this very seriuously and want to make sure we get this correct. We are currently in North Carolina at an RC Pro Event....so we hope to post the updated resutls at the begining of next week

I just wanted to say Thanks to JP and everyone else involved in this to try to sort it out and make it right. This shows the dedication that these guys have to making this a great series.

Thanks!

Jimmy

I think this round should be thrown out as far as points go. Let everyone who got plaques keep them and reschedule the race or just make it a 6 race points series. It is going to cause a big problem in the final points on the results.

On the flip side, if you were in the running in points and you actually should have finished 1st but results say 4th, who is screwed now? I think it is professional of them to consider all the arguments (which I know they did), I mean they have gone way out of their way to make this politically correct. Having results stand, people would be mad because they know they finished better than indicated. To me, it only seems fair to actually get the points correct. I think leaving someone in 1st position that actually should have finished 4th is more wrong than correcting the results.

*My opinion and not anyone of the GCS.

I could not agree more. There is instant replay in alot of professional sports now because of human or technology error. I think it is great that these guys have taken the time to get the correct results. Keep up the good work guys.

What about the guys in the lower mains that got there bump taken away? You would have to do something for them to make it right. Possibly one of them could have bumped up and won it. I don't know how you could make it right.

This is a prime example of the true nature behind the GCS today. (Its all about us racers)
Jp and Travis do so much that most people never even know or see, for those few of us that are there to see it almost on a daily basis, we all wonder how (and sometimes why)they are able to give so much back to the sport we all love.
It goes a long way to show the character of these guys, they truely give 110% in every aspect of the GCS, with no thought of what they might get from it!!!

What about the guys who were told they were in front by a lap or so and slowed down for that reason. Maybe they should not have changed there pace but it would have been nice to know before the mains to run as hard as you can cause there is a counting problem.
Just saying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its a mess. For every person who gets bumped down there is someone who gets bumped up . We are depending on a review of the results which involves guessing and speculation . To bad nobody has a video of the mains.
