If anyone has used short course, buggies, or truggies (in good shape) for sale, bring em to the club race. I'd rather see new or soon to be new racers get em from us instead of getting ripped off buying worn out trash via fleabay.
We're planning on having the timing system set up a couple hours in advance for those who wish to get their racers "dialed in" and so we have less last minute registrations.
We want to start on time (4pm).
See yall Saturday

I've been out there a couple of times already with a practically new buggy and truggy with no offers. I would like to get into racing, but I need to sell some of what I have first. Not interested in running the nitro truggy at all. Thinking of trying short course or an electric 1/8 scale.

What all do you have for sale?Alot of folks that are somewhat established racers pretty much are set up so to speak with what they have. What Dave is referring to is letting someone who doesnt have anything at all or is unsure which way to go he or she could run an extra RC unit that one may have and dont mind letting them drive it.We have alot of folks stop by and ask questions but if we had a unit they could actually drive they usually want make a 500 to 1000 dollar purchase just to see if they like it?
If you need help yourself I dont know of anyone within the club who wouldnt help ya out....My name is Phillip,I will be there and if I can help you please let me know.

I was at the last race.......no lookers for me. Didn't stay long though because of the wife. Yeah....I wouldn't expect the racers to want mine but could save someone looking to try out the hobby a few hundred bucks. Ironically I probably could use some help when/if I start racing. I ran my own r/c company for 5 years but never have seriously raced in spite of being involved in the hobby for over 20 years now. I work with Dana, so no problem getting help with racing tips. Look forward to getting in on the racing side of the hobby.

Well....here is what I would like to unload:

1/8 Lightning Stadium Truggy
1/8 Lightning Buggy
1/10 Duratrax Evader ST Pro
1/18 Duratrax MiniQuake SE
1/10 Associated TC3 FT
1/10 Traxxas 16.8V E-Maxx
1/10 HPI Nitro RS4MT Electric Converted

Most of this comes from the business....test vehicles and projects. Some of these are in pretty much new condition. I also have more brushless stuff than you can shake a stick at and would like to get into racing Short Course or/and electric 1/8 if the nitro guys will let a little electric run with. One of the reasons I only raced once or twice at the track is because there was never really a place for me and my crazy brushless projects years ago. Now that it's become mainstream, maybe there's a place for me besides the Island of Misfit Toys.

for club races we have a run whatcha got policy. Its all about having fun.
IMO the easiest way to sell a complete RC is to have it built and ready to go. People are more likely to buy if they can see it run.
Ideally we would like to race every other saturday with a test n tune on the off week sundays. Test n Tune is an organised (but informal) practice day with the timing system up n running. Great way to try out set ups and meet the guys under non stressful conditions. (some folks get uptight on race days)

I know of 3 guys who fried their 10th scale ESC's this wk.
