seems like since the pro's get all there stuff for free or half off then you track owners would do a little more to help the intermediate class. i mean after all the sponsors sponsor the pro's hoping we "the little broke guy" will spend all our bill money buying there parts. so without us at the tracks there wouldn't be sponsors and without sponsors no pro's. now i could come race and spend as much on entry as the pro's but only have a chance at getting something from a lottery drawing. or i could take that entry fee money and buy me that 4 shoe m2c clutch I've been wanting. imo the inter. class should be the only payout class. the pros are getting paid in parts to race. aside from all that pro or not it's not right offering cash to one class but all have to pay the same entry fee. and i probably wouldn't win anything anyway but it's the point. your a backwards robin hood. robbing the poor to give to the rich and unneady.
and yes that track is fun fun fun. can't wait for the gcs round there. would say i can't wait for this run at the pines also but the next race after that i might have a new clutch.

As much work as he put in to that track, he could pay out to longest porta potty break and it would be fine. His track, and more power to him. I am there, cant wait. I want a rematch in SCT!!! :atenhut:

There are inherent pros and cons to larger races which is why some people like em and some don't. By paying out only the pro class the number of sandbaggers decreases, eliminating one of the cons. I enjoy racing against a larger field of drivers with a similar skill level.
Congrats on getting corporate support for the race Jon. Hope you have a great turnout. I'll be there.

Thanks for the support Shannon,,,,,, backwards robin hood huh... I like it.
Dude seriously, it is only $15 a day at this event. The same as any GCS race if you utilize the Friday practice.
Until you actually see what the sponsors awards are for intermediate and sportsman, I wouldn't be too upset with only the pro's getting payouts.
Plus it is like dave said, if you payout for all of the classes, you will always get a sanbagger in the lower classes that will walk away with the money. And then have people complaining that there was baggers and the race director should have bumped the baggers,,,,,,with the baggers complaining about being bumped. So I can't please everybody, all I can say is I hope that everyone atleast has a good time.

i see all the points. and thanks for not taking it the wrong way. i was trying to make my point but in a comical way to show i'm not yelling just thinking out loud. but in the end it's alot of money for three heats and a main + practice. the same you get for 20$. just spread out over three days. are the sponcors items for awards to top finishers or for drawing door prizes? and i know you just had a pay out race that paid to all classes. and i thank you for that. just feeling left out for this one is all.

and thats coming from one half of the team that donated dirt for our track then took it back because yall could not run your own races on our track that we have kept up and worked on for years now. wow. ziiiiiip

It's cool man, sometimes it is hard to read humor on the forums. But I didn't sweat it.
The higher priced awards will be for the top finishers with smaller items given out as door prizes throughout the event.
IE. One sponsor may be giving out three clutch systems that go to the top three in intermediate buggy
Where as another sponsor may be giving out magazine subscriptions that would get handed out throught the day.

Either way, i will be there...freebies are just an added bonus. If I was bankin on winning something at every race I would be broke I am sure...
Anyone that hasnt run this track yet, its awesome. Pretty easy to get hooked up as well.

Thanks Darren.
Go ahead and sign him up in Sportsman, if there are not enough to seperate them, we will run them together and score them separately. So, either way we will still have awards for that class.

Guys, there is a new track feature for this race. And it is a blast to run on.
And the loop has been completley re-done from the point is goes from the decoder, to the point that is under the track. The loop it self, is all new hardware. So we shouldn't have any issues with the loop this weekend.
