I want to thank everyone that has raced in the last two RFC's, and to everyone that will race in the future Don Tilley Race for a Cure's.
Don passed-away in july 2008 from cancer, and with our help and Don's love of R/C racing,
we together can fight this horrible disease.
100% of the donations raised will go to the Home Town Heroes which in turn help's family's with ill children.

I am working on stuff as we speak, it will be April 30th and May 1st at Nitro Valley.I am glad to see this site, and thanks for posting about the race.

Also if anyones company would like to get on board to help out and support this years race with certificate, raffle items etc... please let me know. All proceeds from T-shirt sales, entries, raffle items will benefit the Hometown Heroes. T-shirts will be perpaid this year, and will have a professional design much different then he last 2 years.

Alright guys, we are going to have 2 special races the day of the Race for a Cure.

Entry for each race is $10 per car. Entries will be limited to 10 cars per race.

Race #1 - after round 1.

5 minute team race,
1/8 scale buggy
one man steers, the other throttles. Winning team gets 2 $25 Bass Pro Shops gift cards.
Race will be marshalled.

Race #2 - after round 2.

Wreckers or Checkers,
1/8 scale buggy.
No marshals, no pit man.
Drivers run 10 minutes, must make 1 mandatory refuel pit stops.
Drivers must marshal thier own cars, and are not allowed to drive from anywhere other than the drivers stand.
Winning driver gets a $50 gift certificate to Foot Locker.
