yea, i hear the HPI Blitz is a good one, the slash is indestructable for the most part, the Strike has a cool layout, and the SC10 is a long T4. I got a killer deal on a new RTR SC10 for my girlfriend, we ran it a little in the road yesterday. It is super cool and pretty fast out of the box with a 2s Lipo.

im just hoping to get my strike today ..i had bought one off of rctech and just waiting on it to get here ..cant wait to get it going and pown some slashes ...i have had the most fun when i have just borrowed a loaner sct truck at the track ...the racing is fun and exciting ....i think the strike is the closest in comparison to the slash ..so im hoping to be able to run with them ...it wont stand a chance against sc10 and blitz ...they are so much faster ...but i think that takes some of the spec out of the spec class

I am switching to the blitz for 2010 Stock 2WD SCT class. Everyone I talk to that is out west says it is dominating the classes. I don;t know much about the Strike, except I know someone that ran one around here at a race and it broke in practice. Not sure if that was driver error or if the truck is fragile. The spec class is changing and it is going to start favoring the likes of the blitz and SC10 I think. Although, I believe the Slash is pretty rock solid too.

i have heard alot of good things about the Blitz, i would love to try one out sometime, wish i got really good price on them. The problems with the strike are a running change to the kit, the newer ones seem to be holding up better. The new Kyosho coming out should be a good truck also, based off the RT5 which is a super nice 1/10 truck. The 4x4 corr class is owned by the OFNA/HoBao trucks though, I drove one and wow, they soak up big jumps and bumps very nicely, and really put down the power well.

mosy everyone in alabama runs a "slash class" with all slashes ...then they run a "corr class" ...with sc10"s and just 10th scale ....i believe the reasons they are doing this is because the slash and the strike are more comparable

Our experience so far has told us that the Slash, SC10 & The Strike are all in the same class. We have raced against Slashes at several tracks with the SC10, won a few lost a few. Got our hat handed to us at the SIC by Kendall's Slash.
The driver seems to be the bigger difference to me. I picked the Strike for my business mainly due to the radios with DSM. Since I need 5 for event racing, the Strike radio option was the best choice. The SC10 was VERY durable this season, and it got a "bad" rep at Cullman because we had a 7 cell battery that lapped the field but fried a motor every race. We didn't know, just raced what we were sold.
