2010 BADLANDS SPRING STING

Friday April 9th - Practice 8:00am to 6:00pm

Saturday April 10th - Practice from 7:00am to 8:15am, qualifying starts at 9:00am

Sunday April 11th – Make Up Date

$30 Per Class Before March 27, 2010
$35 Per Class After March 27, 2010
Must have 8 entries on the day of the race to make a class
30 Minute A-Mains
ROAR RULES APPLY
BREAK OUT RULE WILL BE IN PLACE FOR SPORTSMAN CLASSES

RCSIGNUP WILL BE USED TO ENTER.

This weekend is the Spring Sting Warm-up. The weather is looking as perfect as it can be. Hope to see everyone there. Racing starts at 11:00AM.

If you have not signed up for the Spring Sting and plan to attend, go ahead and do so. It will make it a lot easier to get everyone in the computer on race weekend. Thanks to all that are coming.

JP, working out now. Looks like we may be coming. I should know shortly. If we come though it will late on Wednesday so we have one full beach day as a family. Same place.

The issue is trying to get off work. My damn boss is killing me!

Hey everyone, I don't have a lot of room in my car to bring a bunch of stuff, but if anyone needs anything for the Spting Sting, let me know. I have some Proline buggy/truggy tires, AKA tires/wheels, some fuel (Nitro Juice). I don't have my shipment of Sidewinder yet, and I have parts for some vehicles. Just let me know.

You can always PM a custom order.

Signups on RCSIGNUP.COM will be closing at 1:00PM today. If you are coming, sign up if you can. It will make it a lot faster and easier on Friday and Saturday to get everyone in the system.

Wow ! What a great weekend of racing! As if Badlands wasn't already at the top of my list as one of my favorite tracks to visit. Not only was the track as facility top notch, but the race directing was by far the best in the region. Hands Down! Travis, Kevin, Wendall, and the rest of the crew did outstanding. I cant remember her name...but her race announcing was some of the best I have seem since I started racing. Calm, assertive, informative, and well directed the entire day.
I really cant say enough....this club has their act together! Great Job! I'll be Back in December for sure!

Indeed, it was my first time there. The track was incredibly maintained and grooved up quickly. I have never had as much traction at any other track, which proved more difficult for me as I am not used to a track like this. I had a great time despite having some problems. I plan to come back again soon.

Also, a HUGE, I mean HUGE shout out to Missy Hanna that called the race. Anyone that runs a track or calls race could learn a few things from her. I never had to ask what was going on, she kept us informed all the time. Even calling out laps times as you cross the line in your heats, I was amazed! The new clock is great addition any track should have.

The clock was a great purchase for the badlands, it alone does a great job for pit guys and race efficiency. Great job missy.

Track was awesome, and the Myrtle Beach guys sure are fast on it. Hope to see you guys at Cape FEar on May 29 and at the Watermelon, great racing with all you guys.

Brandon - We are hoping to make Cape Fear soon. May 29th is the weekend after the RC Pro Series race at the Turkey Farm, so it will be tough to make that one. You never know though.

I was hoping to make the Turkey Farm, but AE is doing a race promo with the Kyle Busch Foundation at Charlotte for the NASCAR All star race, and I'll be there with those guys wrenching and racing expo races for display for the crowds. Temp offroad track gonna be setup and a "try me" track for public, should be great exposure to thousands of R/C Racing.

Results any where to be found???

Don't know about you but the new badlands website is soooo difficult to navigate, I couldn't find race results anywhere???
