Do you think it would be cool to have a setup sheet section on the site? Then we can start threads that are specific to each type of vehicle...this would go under Tech Talk. Whaddu you think?

Cool. We have a Setup Sheets section under Tech Talk now. I think I will like this section.

I love my 2.0!
I've been running it since last November and never looked back!
I like to run a fairly stock setup.

Let me know when you are ready to get one...
I just got a local racer one through carolinas rc for $464 with a code. He got the buggy, tool set, and shipped for $515 I think:football:

I broke the servo saver on my 2.0 buggy today.. and in looking for a replacement I came across some info that at some point Losi switched the steering setup back to the 1.0 model and it doesn't look as if parts are compatible? Is this true? Mainly I'm looking at the alum servo savers and there are two models LOSA4441 (1.0) and LOSA4443 (2.0) .. but if its true that at some point in time Losi switched new 2.0's back to 1.0 steering parts... i have no idea how to tell which part to get.
any input would be helpful.. thanks in advance

When you order the part number shown in your manual for the steering rack plastics you will get the newest stuff(1.0 servo saver assembly with newer spring design). Unless the shop has had it for a long time. If you get it from carolinasrc.com you should get the new part.
However...MAKE SURE to order the 1.0 aluminum upper servo saver arm and everything will go good for ya.

take me a picture of what you got on your buggy. I mainly need to see what the curves look like on the two pieces..

See if any of these show what you're looking for.. (linked them as they're too big to post, and don't want to shrink them and lose detail)

Ok, you either need to get a 2.0 upper aluminum servo saver arm or the new plastic stuff(that I mentione earlier thats updated) and the 1.0 Aluminum part.
The difference is the point on your current one, is more curved like the old one on the updated part.

LOSA4443 aluminum servo arm is discontinued part number, and only one being sold by horizon/losi is the LOSA4441. I found this out the hard way, when placing a recent order, the change was made about the same time my order was placed
