Any club races this weekend? 2/27 , 2/28. Would like to get my slash on the track at least for some fun.

On road on the 28th we do have a Slash class

Cool deal I might have to swap some OT around but there's a good chance I'll be able to make it Sun. Is there a post about times and fees and such?

All I have is my stock slash 2wd w/ am radio (yuck I know, working on a replacement), 2 7 cell 3000mah nimh batteries and a pair of chargers. Anything else a noob needs for the track.

Heh not sure I have much of either. Never raced before so hopefully I'll have a little luck.

Heard the slash was a tank, hopefully I won't need many parts. If I do break something I'll have to pick up that part.

i have only seen two or three things break on a slash, and one of those was a kid. you should be good

Yeah I'm about as ready as I'll get. Time to get busy crashing err racing.

Will be nice to see what setup others are using for the slash class.

most of us took the truck from racing on dirt, and dropped it on the concrete and ran it, fun and challeging

Yeah I'm looking forward to it. I also have the handicap of having only run 3 packs on my Slash so I'm still in the learning curve. Should still be a ton of fun though. :)

Bring ya some Zip ties , or look for a Green Jeep , i'll show a lil trick to get the slash to handle a bit better . LOL .

Had a blast today even though I had to leave early. Learned a lot and I still have a lot to learn about driving and setup.
Thanks to everyone who was so patient and helpful.
