Points series

I just wanted to get input from racers on what you would like to see in a points series. There has been some discussion of trying another one.

1. How long of a series would you like to see?
2. What kind of prizes would you like to see? A cash pot, trophies, rc type prizes??? A mixture of all?

You will recieve points for each class you run at each race and will be eligible to win in each class. We are open to any ideas so throw em out there.

would be nice if it could be done like the old borderwars series ...that freddy marsh and john greene put together ....3-4 tracks 1-2 races at each track and a huge finals at the end ...that was the most fun ive ever had racing rc ....and it got all racers from all tracks together and travelling to each others tracks .....easier said than done as most people just want to race at there home track not wanting to take on the challenges that all the tracks in the area have to offer :(

There was some talk between myself, Alan, and the Huntsville guys about doing that early this year, but nothing ever came of it. My thought was 2 races at each track then do a drawing to see where the final race would be.

seemed like i remember myself mentioning this to bradly seales a few months ago and him telling me he would like to do something like this next year. It would for sure be fun tho. Multiple tracks, multiple races, big finale.

the border wars were really one of the last races where alabama racers were a comunity instead of a few people running at 3-4 different tracks with no really large turnout at any one track.

I would like to see this series again even call it the border wars series

class specific prices a trophy and a small amount of cash for 1 ,2 ,and 3

such as the revo class winner recieved a rb mods os .18 motor 2nd place recieved tires/rims/body 3rd recieved tires/rims

Would love to see this happen as I wasn't racing when the border wars were around. Have heard alot about it though. Not sure how much I will be able to race next year though as Baby # 3 is now coming :football: . Last one for us....lol

Wanted to bring this back to the top as discussion continue regarding a new points series this spring.

Any other ideas on what you would like to see? What kind of prizes would you like to have?

We want to make this something to build on and hopefull be able to do it bigger and better next year.
