Sorry guys Race Cancelled for Saturday

I went by the track today and it is just way to wet for us to race this weekend. I talked to Jeff and he said to cancel. Hopefully things will be better on the 28th.

That's fine with me, I'll post a poll at shoalsrc.net/forum and see who would like to do that. We are supposed to race on the 28th so that would mean back to back weeks, but I'm ok with that. :)

I was hoping to make Cullman on the 20th because soccer starts back next month and I won't be able to make one for a while.

Waiting on Jarvis and Ricky....but the weather has really shaped up nicely and looks like we might be racing. Nice warmer weather this weekend as well!!

I will be there Saturday regardless for practice. Ricky (mudslinger), is going by to check the track in the morning and give a last minute notice. Since it is last minute the entry fee might be cut in half.

Man, Wish I could come out and play. They are telling us at work this is the last weekend we have to work for a while. Paychecks have been nice at 70 hours weekly but my butt is dragging. Just 8 more days until an of day:dizzy:

Guys, Micheal went by the track today and got stuck. He said the track looks really rough too, I guess from all the freezing and thawing. I'm still going to go by in the morning and check it out. I would hate to say it's on and have so many people drive from so far and not be able to race, and tear up the ground around the track. We have to remember that we only have this track because Shane is nice enough to let us use the land.

Can everybody make it out Sunday? I've got to work half a day Saturday, plus I have other obligations Saturday night.

I can make it either day... I really just want to get some practice in on showing up and getting everything going. It doesn't take much to get my driving skillz back to their usual level of incompetence but it would be nice to actually drive in all my heats...

Sunday is when the storms are rolling in. All the ones I spoke to said they can make Sat., but not taking a chance Sunday which is understandable. I think with another good day of sun tomm it should fair quite good. The track will be rough at first, but a few cars down it and it will smooth out. Start with MT class :)

I plan on being there Sat. I hope the track dries up enough to race on. The reason the track is rough is because of someone running their truck on it when it was muddy.
