16' wide lanes and 3' gap is way to much for 180x80. I could see a 16' wide front stright but the other lanes dont need to be that wide. With a 3' gap, are you saying there can be no 180 degree turns unless there is 3' between the lanes? I am working it out on graph paper and it is very tight with 16' lanes. Just my opinion.

Lanes running in opposite directions should have a three foot space between them

As for the entry's, are you talking about drawings on paper or something more professional in design?
I'm sure for the most of us, the paper drawing would be the limit of our design ability.
Just wondering if a sketch from a "average joe" would be enough to win.

So I just started working out designs. I have to agree, 16' and 80' does not jive right, it seems like it needs to be 12' to work, the track is going to be very choppy and odd.
Anyone else have an opinion about this?

hmmm, drawing it out as the AMS is 95x180 and 16 feet is gonna make it hard. But, I'm bringing it! Who is doing the judging?

Three great layouts. This is going to be a hard job narrowing it down to five.
