Alan, I was looking through XRC and saw you with an electric drill. It felt kind of cool since I knew somebody in the Mag.

Thanks man! That was in Texas at the RC PRO Finals. They asked some of us guys what was our favorite tool within reach and those little cheap screw drivers work perfect, not to fast, and don't strip screw. Saves me a lot of time!
I'm gonna get the mag and frame it:)

This just in from the Speed Shop camp:
The speed shop world record long jump entry is in the build/test stages. Today Friday the 12th yeilded only decent results with a 79mph run with test buggy #1, and a 86mph run with test setup #2. With the surface cold and slick with the snow today it was hard to manage the Speed Shop entry at these speeds! We are using the popular class leading Losi 8 2.0 B with two very different setups. We are going to be looking super fast with a www.fastlanegear.com wrap using a new "radio active" wrap! The Speed Shop will head out to Losi head quarters on monday to pick up the proto gears hopefully needed to achieve the speed needed to come out on top. After the Nitro pit event in Arizona we will return for a few days and get some testing and final prep work done on the SPEED SHOP entry before heading to the PNB. See you guys there! It's going to be insane! We have also viewed a short video of Adam Drake at the losi office doing a speed run and suddenly getting a boost of power and a heavy smoke trail. All attempts to find out about it were refused by Losi execs.... AB
