Ribbed Front Tires illegal ??? Short Course

Looks like Roar doesn't agree with ribbed front tires for short course racing. I kinda agree with them. Realism is what attracted me to Short Course trucks.
What do the rest of you short course guys think about them being illegal?

I think that you can have a sportsman class that is bone stock, or near to it, but have the open class able to run what they want. In 2wd the ribs do well on the blue groove.

yea, i like running my double dees, goosebumps, bar codes, etc because they really do remind me of the real tires from my truck, very realistic.......... yea, makes so much sense why they made ribbed tires illegal

I say keep em illegal.

but not only are ribs tires illegal, but now it seems that most SCT aftermarket tires are illegal cause they are too wide, stupid
