Won't take you long. You should have her dialed in within 2 rounds. The Mugen really is forgiving like the 2.0 Losi.

I really want to come this weekend to the race! I have my 4x4 and my soon to be /backslash.
Question(s) :o:
Can I run a brushless slash with a buggy wing and body in the open corr class?
What will I run my 4x4 in?
I haven't raced in a while, I forgot what classes yall decided to put us in.

hmmmm you'll have to bring the slash with a buggy body and let us look at it. The 4x4 will run with the open's, but not competing against them. There should be at least one other 4x4 slash there this weekend. The max number of Corr trucks we've had is 5 I think and they were all 2wd that day. We've never run Corr as far as I can remember so this class is just reving up for us. I can't guarantee you will be able to run the buggy/slash thing lol but we'll see. Are you racing it anywhere else?

Well, I can't say for sure yet on the racing it anywhere else, because it doesn't exist yet. My parts will come in friday. :o If you want to check it out a little more, check out: www.ultimatetraxxas.com

Hate to be a voice of dissent... but I think when we said open it was mostly talking about motors and hop ups. Of course, without out a clear set of rules it's hard to say. But without the Short Course Body and the Short Course wheels they are just long stadium trucks (or 2wd buggies like yours)... and heck if you've moved away from trying to be like a short course truck you may as well get the short chassis too...
of course, you could probably just leave it stock for another day and still win the the Open CORR Class... the guy that won the last 2 can't drive for crap... just my 2 cents...

That is true, it is more of a 2wd buggy now. I guess it would be better to race it in open. I don't know. I won't be comming this weekend, just talked to my Dad :( My family has plans to go to the beach all next week.

I don't know where you would put that thing. lol It's pretty cool, but it's not really a short course truck, and it's not really a buggy. We've raced 2wd buggies with stadium before so it might have to go there. But honestly you may be better off if you want to race it just leaving it stock. Ben is right when we said open it basically means motor, tires etc. When you get it done bring it and we'll see what we can do. I'd like to see it on the track anyway.

Only thing I'm right about is that I'm a bad driver... the rest could be debated. :) of course, I'm guessing driving skill is like golf skill - the better you get the more you realize you need to improve.
I would also like to see it run... but I'll see that at the next cullman race anyways...and since I don't intend on racing open there I'll be rooting for it.

So it's pretty much a slash/buggy. No that will not be ran with the Stadium trucks or the Slash class. You will have to wait until there is a class of them.

The Corr class has gone to far out of the box.

I agree. I didn't think of it being a Short Course mod class, I was thinking more of a "run what you bring" short course class, like as long as it was a slash, sc10, etc with whatever you had on it you could run it.
It's all cool though

Jarvis I agree. Personally I don't see a problem with the backslash. The only real mods are a wing, and body if I read it right.
