We are trying to get together a Short Course Enduro race. If you would be interested in this race then please go to the link below and add your name to the list. You can sign up even if you don't have a truck. We are going to have teams with team captains. The team captains will pick names out of a hat to try to keep the team somewhat fair. We are going to do a trial run soon, and then have a full scale race after that. If you don't want to register on our forum then just add your name here, and whether or not you are signing up just as a driver, or truck and driver, and I'll add them to the list on our forum.

Cool thanks. We are going to do it on March 19th. We'll probably have a real low entry fee. I'll post more details later.

Ok guys after a lot of discussion and great ideas, here is the general conclusion, rules and time for a short course enudrance race.
DETAILS
Saturday March 19th. SRMR.
Gates will open at 9am with registration until 11am.
At 11am team captains will be named and will draw a number. Those numbers will determine the order in which captains draw a name for a teammate for the day.
Teams will have two hours to practice, set up and plan out their race stratagy.
Qualifing heats will begin at 1pm.
RULES
Two drivers one truck.
Each driver will run a 5 or 10 minute heat. (will depend if we have enough to split the 2x4 & 4x4)
One hour total main time.
One team member drives half the race while the other corners, swap at the half way point.
Each driver must make a pit stop for a battery swap during his turn at driving.
Only one battery in the truck at a time. The body must be removed, battery unplugged, swaped and the body reattached.
If we have enough enteries we will split 2x4 and 4x4.
Remember this is just a fun event so there is no race fee this day. It is also just a trial run so to speak so if we don't get all the bugs worked before race day then so be it. We can hopefully learn from any mistakes we make and if everybody enjoys this type race maybe we can do it again someday.
Please post any questions here.

I added this race on rc sign up so now you can sign up. If you are a driver with no sc truck then just sign up with any vehicle and we'll decide who's team you will be on at the race. http://events.rcsignup.com/events/displayEvent.cfm?ID=1870

We are advertising this as a free race and it will stay that way. However we are going to have fun, race, eat and help out a fellow racers family at the same time.
A club members granddaughter has had very serious health issues the past few weeks. This has led to lots of bills and more to come. A fund has been set up at a local bank for donations.
Come on out and enjoy this great day of free racing and make a donation to this cause. All money donated and brought in from food sales will go directly to this family.
Lets have a major turnout and help make a differance to a family in need.
