That's right, there will be 100% of the entry fees paid out on March 20th, 2010

This will be the Official Season Grand Opening at Pine-Land.

Gates will be open on friday morning.

We will run 3 quals and a main

Classes will be
Intermediate and Pro Buggy
Intermediate and Pro Truggy
Spec SCT (ROAR Rules)

Practice times:
All day Friday
8:00 - 10:15 Sat morning

Drivers meeting:
10:30

Racing starting no later than 11:00

Entry fee will be $25 first class, $15 second class,
Father-son (under17) $30 for one class each, $10 each additional class per driver.

Bubba's Fun Foods Concessions will be on site for the entire event.

Sunday will be our rain date.

If you need any information on lodging, let me know and I will post a list of the closest lodging facilities in the area.

It is for the 2wd SCT, although if enough racers (atleast 5) show up with 4wd SCT's then we will run both.

This should be a really fun race once we get the new layout down, and it will be a good chance to check out the track before the GCS in May.

Pine-Land R/C is proud to announce that we will have Bob from JLAP announcing this race for us at Pine-Land R/C.

Bob has many years experience and is absolutely one of the best announcers in our hobby. He helped us out last year at the Grand Opening and we are very proud to have him out again this year.

The loader will be on site tomorrow and we are going to be working the track this weekend.

I just went and got a stump grinder tonight to help smooth out the new parking areas.



I am very excited about the new layout and cant wait to get it done.

Guys the new layout is finished and it is sick.

Once I get the pipe back in place I will take some pics and a short video of the track.

All I can say to the guys that were here last year, is that you will not recognize the new track from the last one.

Several elevation changes, big air, plenty of room to stretch your legs.

All Georgia red clay surface, perfect for racing.

At least one Savannah guy is coming. It's a shame SCORE scheduled on top of you. Hopefully a few of the guys that were planning to come up to Pineland will still make the trip. It's sounding like a pretty good turnout.

Yeah it is, I talked to Dave at the PNB and he thought that they could move the race to Sun, seeing how my race has been on the calender since Jan. and they just scheduled theres a couple weeks ago...
But after I saw his post, I guess it didn't fly with Jason and Mike.

Kind of a bummer that they did that. Especially on my first race of the season.

No worries though, I think that we will still have a great turn out here, I spoke with a ton of guys that plan on being down here for the race on the 20th.

Alex, I still haven't got back to the track to put the piping back down. Kinda been dragging my arse since I got back home, lol.

I plan on getting some people here tomorrow and we are going to get it put back in place, and I will take some then.

Guys, we got about half of the pipe in place today. The rest will be laid donw tomorrow afternoon. I wanted to get it done last week, but I was out of town and then we had some rain.

BTW, the weather looks really good for this weekends racing.

The track should be primed for some great racing action.

Just received some pics of the 2010 layout for Pine Land RC. Track looks freakin AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A great addition to the GCS schedule. Jon said he has to put some finishing touches on it tomorrow but it looks to be in top condition for Saturday's money race.
