The 3rd round of the RC Pro Series will be held at Dalton r\c Raceway Oct. 8th,9th, and 10th. Friday is a practice day. Sat. and Sun. will be action packed race days. I hope racers that have noy ever came to Dalto r\c will come down to enjoy the fun and friendly race atmosphere with a great hard packed GA clay surface to run on. Track will be in top notch shape and packed down super well. The new design seems to be faster and flows better too. Everyone needs to come and check it out. Fun is gauranteed!!!!!

Raced this past weekend and the new track layout is Super fun!
Flows really well, has technical parts high speed parts and a tricky "woop" section. Ran a total of 70 minutes (practice, quals, and mains) and the tires showed almost NO wear whatsoever. This weekend is going to be great.

What tires did you run? Grid Iron?

I can't give my secret tire away??????
Most people run city block, grid iron or enduro. As far as aka is concerned. and then of course calibers, double dees, axeman, and the new sniper should be good too.

Sucks that it is a 3 day race, RC Pro should only be a 1 day race. I would have like to come over to run on that track. :(

Hey Brian,
Long time no talk. You still running for Luther?
Your so good you can just come up sat. and practice in the morning and then run the quals and mains. Just a 2 day race for you.
Here how they do it in Dalton....Going to be a fun weekend.....

I was told it depends on turn out. I believe they did that in Aiken, ran all on Saturday if I am not mistaken. A very well run race with 3 quals should be able to get fit in within one day. Except this is 4 quals too. Glad it is not 2 ;)

I am going, but running Open. I guess I could run Pro. I am torn about it. If slim turnout for Pro I will jump up for sure. Thoughts? I figured out what happened in the last GCS race. I was running 4th...and my brakes rounded out so they were not catching on the dif outdrives. Which = no brakes. Brand new discs before that main too!
If there is a low turn out for that class...we will combine them for the days racing but separate them for points reason and finishing results.
